Hello,
You could have an issue with the crankshaft position sensor.
As the crank sensor starts to go bad, many times you will have to crank the engine over and over before it will start.
Over time due to heat and vibrations the crank sensor will loose its internal calibration and start to give you intermittent issue. Ultimately it could fail all together and not start the engine at all.
This vehicle also has a crankshaft reluctor wheel which goes on the crankshaft. This can trigger a similar issue as well.
