Ford Taurus stalling

My 98 Ford Taurus will stall when I come to a complete stop. When I release the break peel sometimes the car will rev up on its own. Other times it just stalls out. I have been able to start it back up immediately afterwards. I have checked the air intake and the throttle position sensor. Do you have any other ideas as to what it could be?

Clean out the idle air control valve, EGR valve and see what happens.

I did that it was the first thing I tried and I'm still having the problem.
