I have a 1998 ford escort wagon. On my dashboard all the signal lights and error lights work but the lights behind my gauges don't light up. is there a fuse for this or lights to replace? Where are they located and how to do I get to them? thanks!

Yes they work. Believe it or not I went to see one of my friends who sells used cars and we checked it out and he gave it a good hit thinking might be a bad ground. Funny enough by the time I got hime, I tried it again and they work! It was just the lights behind the gauges. Now they all work...:)

If the other instrument control lights are working, then you likely have a bad dash cluster. They share the same feed.
