Turn signals do not work when the weather is hot

When the weather is cool, the turn signals work fine. If it is hot out, or if the car has been parked in the sun, the handle makes the usual clicks, but the lights do not blink. For a long time, running the air conditioner at full blast would keep them functioning, but that method is no longer working well. Any ideas? Thanks!

Replace the turn signal flasher in the fuse panel. Or it's mounted on the base of the steering column just listen for the clicking.

Then you would have to replace the turn signal switch.
