I have a 1998 Chevy Camaro 3.8L that is having problems with the wipers and the turn signal when trying to turn right. Both problems only happen once in awhile where they would stop working. Are they related to each other? Do I need to replace the lever to fix both problems or are they 2 different pieces? The car doesnt have cruise control.

Always an issue when gm made the 2 together. When you turn right, it tends to turn on the wipers. Replacing the stalk may nhelp but wont change the engineering. The stalk just pulls out and is in expensive to replace.

The wipers dont turn on when switching the turn signal to the right. If I use the wipers they eventually start acting funny. When I try to turn right, the signal light doesnt come on sometimes. Intermittent problems. Is a faulty lever the cause of this?

I thought the lever was the switch for everything. I thought it was the switch for the wipers/washer fluid and the turn signals. So your telling me there is something else I have to replace?

It is called a multi function switch. Your right, it controls a few things at once.
