After I took the 1997 Toyota 4-Runner-4 cyclinder, with 275K miles, to the dealer, I was advised that I have a blown headgasket, because test reported that there was water in gasket number one. However, the engine would have to be sent out to a test shop, to determine what all was wrong with the heads, and it would cost me $4K.
What are the steps I need to take to determine what is wrong with my truck?
Thanks.
