Parts are replaced, not repaired, then the car must be aligned. The outer tie rod end is fairly obvious once you have the new one in your hand to look at. The inner is not obvious, even when you have the new one, and it requires special tools. I can describe the procedure but there's two different kinds and each requires some different tools. The entire procedure is in the service manual.
