1997 Nissan Altima cat won't start

I replaced my radiator a couple times then replaced the radiator and thermostat I'm told I need a water pump I have been putting water in my radiator now my car cut off and won't start what are the possible reasons this is happening

You need to do a cooling system pressure test to locate any external coolant leaks, check this first and if there are no external leaks, do a head check for internal leaks, most mechanics can do both these test quickly and they should not cost very much, report the findings for more assistance.
