I went through the complete diagnostic code table and could not find any reference to the phrase "FSS".

Symptom indicates a fault with the fuel system and it could be the fuel injectors that are not getting power or pulsing.

Do you have any sparks and fuel pressure?
Are the headlights working?

Get a compression test done to see if they are within specs.

When rpm is increased to 1000, does the engine idle smoothly?

With fuel down thr throttle body, it means you have a fuel problem and we shuld turn our ttention to that first.

Check the fuel pressure. Ensure fuel pump is working, at least when ignition is turned on.

From your description of the FSS, my best guess is it is something to do with Fuel sensors, just don't click so I am not able to fill in the blanks.

Ensure the fuel pump is working and you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

Nex is to check the fuel injectors, their wiring circuits and ensure the circuits are pulsing.

Corvettedave, were you able to get your truck running?

If not, check the injector relay, to make sure it is energizing. If not, remove it and use your meter to determine whether it's receiving power. Check the grounds for the injector circuit.
