1997 chrysler town&country, cuts off after 30 min to 1 hr. Driving, cools down 10to 15 min, starts and drives till it cuts off again, why is that?

Suspect the crankshaft position sensor or the camshaft position sensor. Checking for diagnostic fault codes will often lead to the circuit with the problem, not necessarily the defective part.
