Truck wont start

I have a 96 s10 its a 4 cylinder I will nott start but it cranks it will start with starting fluid then turn off

Check your fuel pressure it should be 41-47 psi you may have a bad fuel pump.

Try this, change oil and filter. Drive the truck 15 miles or so on eway if you can. Or at least where you can keep a fairly steady speed. Have it tested then, if you don't have a service engine light on it may pass then.
