Intermittent problem

1994 Toyota Camry V-6 has internittent problem similar to running out of gas; car running fine then engine nearly quits, will idle [barely] but will not rev or move car, turn off/restart same problem, come back hours later engine runs fine and may go many miles but eventually problem repeats.

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs if okay-test the throttle position sensor and airflow meter

Thanks for your response but this is an all or nothing thing. Car either runs perfectly or will not move.

Do what I've suggested and go from there-could be a ground or computer issue other than the above
