The brake lights are not working on my 1994 Chevrolet Suburban. Also, the cruise control won't shut off when you hit the brake.

The first thing I would check is the brake light switch. Do you have mulimeter to do some testing? Also have you checked all fuses?

The brake switch is up under the dash under the brake pedal arm. So do you have a multimeter to do. Some testing?

You should have battery voltage at the orange wire going into the brake switch. Then check the white wire there should be no voltage. Then press the brake pedal and see if the white wire has battery voltage. Let me know what you find.
