New battery, alternator run fine until I turned heat on. Check engine light come on and not even a minute later volts light and it was dead. New battery I drive maybe10 miles and check engine then volts then it dies. Could this be regulator? The computer? I've heard about these Buicks with these problems. It's to bad because Buick used to be a good car.

Does it die overnight or only when driving / running? Have you checked for electrical draws to the battery? If it is dying that fast, there has to be an extreme electrical draw. Do the battery cables get hot?
