Why would my car turn off and i need a jump to start it back up? My battery and my alternator are new.

what is the voltage at the battery when it is running???

It says on the gauge 14.6 volts normal

i mean with a real meter. the gauge is not always accurate.

I took it to get tested and they said that my battery is fine..it will go days and without any problems and then all of a sudden it won't crank. I will get a jump and then it will be another few days before the problem occurs again...
