1991 Chevrolet Metro car wont start

Why wont my geo metro chevorlet start cause it turns over and sputter but won't start I've checked spark and I get gas so Idk what to do I've checked the fuel pump and when I turn it over air come out the carbarator

When you press the gas and look in car gas should squirt out to little things or one you should be able to see it looking down carb if not it's time for a carb overhaul. Also check flow and pressure in pump. Shold be about 3-4 psi for a carb pint of fuel in 30 seconds as well.

Well when I turn the car over it drips gas down the caburator

Have a pro check this I think you have a carb problem and is flooding the car. Still think it's an overhaul issue

If I took the carburator off and cleaned it do you think it would fix my problem

No, it probably needs an overhaul due to alcohol in todays fuels.
