I have a Toyota 4Runner which turns over but will not start. I just recently purchased this vehicle and have had no problems with it starting until today. I had been starting it every day since I bought it except yesterday. Today I tried to start it and it did not fire. I had already bought new spark plugs to install and did so. Once installed the 4Runner started right up with no problems. I let it run for awhile then shut it off. Later on I tried again to start it and it did the same same all over again, turn over, but not fire. It is make not clicking or other sounds. The battery seems fine. I have checked the fuses. The 4Runner is a 5 speed manual transmission. The only other issue I have discovered besides this problem is the wippers not working and the key seems loose in the ignition.

Start by checking the ignition switch and the cylinder-might not be making good contact internally-

After doing what Raz suggested, do some basic checks like spark and fuel pressure.
