Sorry Lynne, the mesage was meant for CJ. He sent me a few messages and I did not reply to him which is making him made now, lol. Maybe he is lovesick.

A burgundy bra on a Civic? Hmm, how would that look? The Civic, is a she, as cars are usually refered to, even more so if it is sporty in looks, is not a modest she so would look sexier without a bra.

Physical vehicle and mileage alone are not the deciding factor in prices. What lies under the hood makes the differences. A 1.5 and 1.6 L engine and the horses it comes with are other main contributing factors. Men likes what is under the hood, sure you know what I am refering to if it is a lady too.

I'M SORTA WAITIN' TO SEE HOW MUCH SHE UPs THE PRICE ON HER'S

. AFTER SEEING WHAT LITTLE EFFORT/ TIME/ MONEY I PUT INTO A VEHICLE THAT I RAN ACROSS FOR NEXT TO NOTHING. IT WAS THOUGHT TO BE, "NOT WORTH FIXIN' ", BY THE OWNER----THEN I "RACKED UP" WHEN I SOLD IT

SHE AIN'T COME BACK IN A WHILE---SHE'S GOTTA BE "STEWING"!

KHL; The "bra" is black leather and has the letters CIVIC on it. It's supposed to be a hood protector but I never used it because it trapped water under it and I was concerned it would cause more problems then not. And yes it looks sporty. Its rare to find the OEM belonging to my Honda but it came with the car. Nowadays you can buy a black bra new for that Civic but it's a plain black leather with no "civic" lettering and is rather boring.I see brand new parts are being brought on the market because apparently Civic's are desirable from that period. Who knew?

CJ (easier then saying The Medic), once again your notes are perplexing. Whose she in "she aint' come back in a while-she's gotta be stewing"? Are you answering a message to KHL about a subject I'm not aware of? Got me wondering why would this person be stewing? You didn't do to her car what you did to that car you sent photos to me on did you? Yanno, spray painting it with Walmart paint and then flipping it only to have that paint fade two years later? LOL! Course you were in your 20s then.

Anyway, folks, I'm going to keep it at btwn 1800 and 1900, not sure which. I'll probably make 1600 with bargaining down, but maybe I'll get my price if I make it firm. I spent about $300 on getting it back up. I hope to clear $1500.

CJ, I enjoyed the albums you sent. But I'm not restoring jeeps or flipping cars. Just needed help with my own. It was good chatting with you though and seeing your family.

KHL, your help is greatly appreciated. Again thank you. You're a pro and I appreciate your knowledge. I hope you're right about it being about what's under the hood. It's got a lot of miles on it. We'll see. Take care and I'll keep you posted.

I FIGGERED YOU'D WANT MORE FOR YOUR "WELL KEPT" CAR AFTER SEEING MY HASTY CHEAP RESTORATION---FROM A "BEATER" TO A "QUEEN".W/ A "CORN BREAD AND BEANS" BUDGET. THEN A HEFTY REWARD AT THE END!

THIS WAS DONE WHILE I WAS DRAWING UNEMPLOYMENT---AFTER MY ACCIDENT AND BEFORE MY PRESENT JOB.I HAD TO DO SOMETHING TO AFFORD TIRES FOR MY JEEP!

THE "SACRIFICIAL BOMBER" WAS THE ANSWER

THE WIFEY WAS HESITANT IN TURNING LOOSE OF THE FUNDAGE SO I COULD EMBARK ON THIS VENTURE

. SHE DOES KNOW MY ABILITIES AND KNOWS I'M CAPABLE AND COMPETENT WITH WELL THOUGHT OUT PLANNING!

AFTER ALL--AN AIRBORNE RANGER CAN DO ANYTHING!

BEFORE. AND AFTER----IN JUST 5 PICS OF MANY---WALMART $0.99 SPRAY BOMBS AND 2500 WET AND DRY SANDPAPER (THE ALBUMS ARE THE BEST STORY TELLERS)

DON'T SHE LOOK GOOD ALL DRESSED UP, W/ EYES AND HAT. THIS WAS HER ONLINE CLASSIFIED AD GLAMOUR SHOT--WHICH IT, AND THE "ORPHAN CAR" STORY ALONG WITH IT---GOT HER A NEW OWNER AND FAST!

(THEM EYES ACTUALLY BELONG TO "WILLY"--MY GRANDSON WANTED WILLY TO COMPETE W/ "SARGE" IN THE "CARS" MOVIE----SO WE MADE SORTA A SUNSCREEN----I DREW THE LINE AT "BENDING WILLYS BUMPER INTO A SMILE")

(EVERYBODY'S CRITICAL OPINION IS WELCOME)

PS To KHL & Razmataz, about CJ's car. I teased him about the paint job, but I gotta say, it looked pretty good. The before and the after. CJ, post them some pictures if you will, directly to them, not necessary to do it here. But not 40 man, that's too much! Do a couple of befores when it looked really gnarly and a couple of afters. You did a great job IMO for a temporary paint job.

That's it folks.
