1989 Chevrolet Corsica start but wont stay running

starts sometimes but wont stay running, seems to have 3/4 tank of gas, man I bought it from had it on battery charger started up and ran, not we cant get it to stay running when being jumped off of a full size 12 passenger van

scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first autoparts rent it. should have 41-47 psi. also check battery for condition including load test auto partsdo that as well.
