I just finished installing a new head gasket on this car. It worked fine before this. I had recently installed a new fuel pump in the tank. After all parts were assembled I tried to start the car with not results.
I have 2 1987 Chrysler New Yorkers, so I checked all the relays by swapping with the one I drive daily, all attempts failed. I jumped a wire from the battery to the coil to check the fuel pump, and it works. The car turns over fine but won't start. Do you have any ideas of what I could do next to fix the problem?
Thanks
Tom L.

Are you getting spark and fuel to the engine?

Hey,
Thanks for the reply. Well, after swapping every relay, coil, logic module, plug wires and everything you can try. I went to swap the engine control module and discovered that I didn't have one of the connections in far enough. I pushed it in and the car started.
Thanks for the response.

That's an easy mistake to make. I'm glad you got it running.
