Hello, I was told my car has a torn cv boot and has a bad cv joint. It does clunk into gear so I believe this might be why. Also, I was told the shocks are the original shocks that came with the car 27 years ago. They are really worn so when I hit a bump I go up and down and my car does not like corners too well. Can all this get any worse or dangerous? Also my car hesitates stopping like the front brakes are slipping. Could this be bad brake rotors? And is it easier buying new rotors or turning them for a car this old? I also have an oil leak. We replaced the oil pressure switch which was the cause of the first leak. Now it leaks again but its really slow and only leaks when driving.(If the car sits the oil stays full.) I have to put about half a quart after two to three days of driving. Valve covers have been replaced already along with a new oil pan. There is oil all over the bottom of the engine and some on the block. Last thing is when driving above 45 mph you can feel a grinding but it does not make noise unless you hit a bump. The wheel also shakes when at high speeds and really shakes when on interstate. I know this might sound a lot. The car has a awesome transmission and its a strong motor. Steering is also good(steering wheel has loose handling but I figure its no big deal). One last question Is this car worth repair or replacement? The engine is the same engine they put in the s10s( 2.8L V6) and it has 95000 original miles.
Thank you.
