Code 1610 lock mode

Bought this car from an auction. Didn't start, jumped it, drove it home. After getting home it won't start, used scanner, says. P 1610 lock mode, 1614 chain of immune key.


Please help.

This is normally just due to a faulty key. However, this could be an intelligent key unit or even a body controller.

So, we need to run through this testing to find out what the cause could be.
