09 tacoma will not restart after turning off

09 tacoma 2.7 lit. std/trans. plain jane truck w/10k mile brought new. after driving and turning eng off and trying to restart nothing happens unless you give it 10-15 mins. all the dash lights come on like normal but no starting noise nothing no clicks etc.etc Once started runs great then turn off nothing until you wait 10-15 mins. called dealer guy said (never heard that before) any thoughts

You would need to test if problem is due to faulty ignition switch, starter relay or wiring. When problem occurs, use a tes light or DVOM to check where power supply in tghe starting circuit is disrupted. It could also be due to a failing starter motor.
