Engine does not crank?

Hi,

You indicated the dash lights turning on. What happens when you turn the key to the start position? Do you hear anything?

Also, have you confirmed the battery is fully charged?

I checked the battery and it had 12.4v so good and the only clicking when pushing the start button is just above the button in the dash, also the engine light is not on, and it was on!!

At this point, we really need to scan the can-bus to determine if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored in any of the modules.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

Also, are there any aftermarket components plugged into the data link connector?

Let me know. There are a few different technical service bulletins related to a no-crank/no-start condition. However, I need to know if there are diagnostic codes stored to point you in the right direction. See pic below.
