Will not start after running out of gas

Vehicle ran out of gas then wouldn’t start back up. I replaced the fuel filter, pump and two spark plugs, still won’t start up. Also, I was going to bypass fuel pump and somethings were unplugged and were not hooked back up correctly.

Can you hear the pump running in the tank with the key on? not cranking engine over. If so, it sounds like the crankshaft sensor has gone out which is common with these cars. We should run the codes though, I have also included the crankshaft sensor location in the diagrams below to help you check it out or replace it.
