Work one day and quit the next. My husband changed the heater core while it was raining without taking dash apart. The windshield wipers stopped shortly and I had to drive the truck! The fuses got wet I think as did my driver seat. The heater core is on the passenger side. My husband is a master mechanic. Things sound right to you?

Hello,

it sounds like the GEM is going out for the wiper/interior lights and the horn will be separate issue please start a new question for that.

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/new

Here are the wiper and interior light wiring diagrams so you can see how the work with the GEM with the location of the GEM which is behind he center of the dash so you can replace it.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

The GEM controls the items that are not working so I think the GEM will solve the problem. Please let me know check out the wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.
