New battery, new starter new ignition. Battery terminals cleaned. When you turn it over it, all regular lights and functions work. But it will not start. There is no power going to the F8 wire. We don't know where the power comes from for that fuse. We have reset the factory alarm system that does not work either. You can use a wire and bypass the starter and it will start. Help!

Hi,

When you say F8 wire, I need to know specifics. My schematics don't show anything identified as F8. If you are referring to fuse 8, that power is directly from the battery to the underhood distribution box.

What I have done is attach the entire starting system wiring schematic that I have below. I had to cut it in half to make it readable. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

The remaining pictures are the power distribution schematics. I highlighted fuse 8 and where power comes from. If you have nothing to the fuse, the PDB may be bad.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

I hope this helps. Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

Thank you for the wiring diagrams. It is hard to find anything on this truck. I don't have power to the f8 fuse in the truck fuse box. I know the power has to come from the battery or the truck won't start. So which fuse box powers that box in the truck? And is there a fuse before the one in the truck? Once again thanks for your help.

Hi,

Fuse 8 in the vehicle is for the door modules. There is a fuse 8 in the underhood box that powers the accessory relay.

Pic 1 shows power to fuse 8 in the vehicle from fuse 15 in the underhood box.

Pic 2 shows power from fuse 8 in the underhood fuse box to the accessory relay in the vehicle.

I'm not sure exactly what you need. If it isn't starting, I don't think it is the door modules.

Let me know exactly what happens when you try starting the vehicle. For example, does the starter engage? The fuel pump doesn't engage. There is no power to the ignition.

Take care,
Joe
