Recently started knocking on front passenger side when accelerating 60-70 km. Not coming from the engine.

Hi,

This could be a loose wheel, a bad CV joint, a bad wheel bearing, or even a brake-related issue.

Is there anything you can do to change the sound it is making? For example, when you apply the brakes, does the sound change? When making a sharp turn, is there a clicking sound?

Here is a link that explains how a CV joint works. Take a look through it.

Also, make sure there isn't a loose wheel issue. Check that first. If there isn't, lift that wheel off the ground and see if there is excessive play back and forth or up and down in the wheel.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions. One last thing. If possible, record the sound and upload it for me to hear. It may be really helpful.

Take care and God Bless,

Joe
