I’ve checked the heater core doesn’t seem to be leaking, it isn’t the hottest as it should be. I guess and I check the freeze out plugs no wet spots, but no leaks. I can see in the inside the hoses on the outside isn’t wet around them but underneath the intake there’s a little coolant, I can feel under it. I’m puzzled on what it could be really. Car isn’t really over heating but does seem like it heats up a lot quicker, keeps the fan running constantly and only leaks while running, it runs down the side of the transmission. Thanks in advance for the help.

So, there is the intake manifold gaskets which can leak in the manner you have described, I would do a cooling system pressure test and use a small mirror to confirm the problem.

Here is a guide to help and in case you need it:

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks for the help. I looked in to it and I do have another question, are there any freeze out plugs behind the flywheel or anything like that?

I don't think so, my information does not tell me definitively though.
