I was getting ECL went P0171 for a while, did everything possible, change MAF, fuel filter, clean throttle, checjk for any leak and still same, after a while the traction also came on at the same time of chk engine plus the loosing noise on the left front side, took it to Pep Boys they did a full inspection and after a long time call and told me it was the front struts of that noise, I told them to change them since it has 104,000+ it was about time to change. They did that and also alignment. After I got it still same problem with noise but they did say I had 3 bent tire rims. So I took to my GM dealer, and they said I had 4 bent rims, I purchase them on E bay, After Scan tool they found P101 and P102, clear it and did not show up. For the noise they had my car for 3 days and did not find nothing wrong. Took it for a test drive with the technician and no codes and barely noise. So No change for the service. Same day I took it out after about 10 miles or more the chk engine and traction came on. Took iti back to GM with both lights on, they chek codes again and found out that it was a P0172 and P101, they replace the MAF which was activating the traction. After I change all the bent rims and new MAF sensor everything is running ok, the car runs like when I got it the first time. Total cost $ 377.00 for parts and labor. MAF= $ 132.50. Will c now what happens, but I think they did fix the problem after having my vehicle for 3 day. Hope this input help readers.
