I have a random clicking noise that seems to be coming from the front of the car. It is not dependent on turning right or left, Increased speed will increase the amount of the clicking - when present. I checked the front driver side brakes (thinking that I could have a loose clip or something) however, it all seemed solid and in order.
The clicking doesn't happen all of the time.
Any ideas?

You asked for an idea.
How about the rusty, out side edge of a rotor

Thanks for the response back. The rotor looks fine. What I'm wondering is, could it be a CV joint that is only affected as power shifts to that wheel? Or, would a CV make a constant noise?

Do you think the clicking maybe coming from under the hood? Or are you sure it is coming around the susspension side? If this is all wheel drive you may want to have the drive shaft inspected as well?
