Hey man i know iscrewed up...but
my 1985 volvo 240DL engine colling system had water in it
the system froze
i thought i thawed it all out with hot water
i went for a 1/2 mile drive after letting it warm up for 5 min
my car over heated
i realized i didnt completely thaw everything and ther wasnt any water getting to my engine from the resevoir
then i completely thawed evrythig
now when i put water in the resevoir i can hear it pour out just as fast as i pour it in
it is coming out the bottom rear passenger side of my engine
i dont have my jack to see whats going on
could it be a blown head gasket or could it be the block or...
any way to know?

Im pretty sure Volvos have "freeze" plugs. They are metal plugs driven into the sides of the block so when the water freezes and expands, the plugs will pop out of the block instead of cracking it
