I have a 1992 volvo 240 gl, and I left the dome light on. needless to say my battery died. I went to jump it and the jumper cables were crossed. I switched them, jumped the car. The next day my car stalled out, "I wasn't getting spark from my spark plugs". I changed them, the car started right up. Now my abs light stays on, and then my check engine light comes on. Did crossing the jumpers mess something up? If so do you know what? Thanks.

That is not rocket science. Of course that causes problems. However, I wholely doubt that the ABS and the check engine light are related. Pull the codes on the cel and check bulbs and fuses for the abs.
