Hi, I am considering purchasing a 1990 Volvo 240 that needs a new transmission. The car is in excellent condition with automatic transmission. It will need new brakes and repair on A/C, which I was told would be about $600. Can you tell me what to expect to pay for the transmission?

Tranny's in American rear drives cost 1200.-2500 depending were it's done, call a local tranny shop and get price over the phone.
