I have a 1984 240 DL Volvo. I am trying to replace the belt between the crank shaft and AC compressor. The compressor is in a fixed position. How do I replace this belt!

Thank you so much!

Did you get it done? If compressor is in fixed position then there must be a tensioner assembly?

There is a pully bolted on to the front of the crank. If you remove the small bolts on the front of the pully it will come off with the belt. Replace using the same method.

Oh, yes, I remember this kind of set up, it reminds me of the stretch belts they have for the A/C compressor for the LS engines.
