Hi - new to this site. Strange incident this a.M. At the gas station. I was near "E" and asked the attendant to fill it up w/ plus. When finished he told me $9.00. I said no, I need you to fill it up, he said he did. I turned on the car and the gauge went to Full. I looked and according to the pump it was 3.7 gallons of gas. My boyfriend was confused as he noticed when driving the car last night that I needed gas as well. I don't know if this is a station error or if I in fact only have 3+ gallons of gas. I have a long highway commute for work and do not want to run out of gas! Any thoughts?

First of all I don't have a clue where to find a station that pumps the gas for you. I don't think I want to see one again. You won't see the old guys pumping it and they won't know that much about cars. So. Run to a self-service station. Cram in as much fuel as you can. Watch the fuel gauge through the rest of the week and note the rate it drops. Your sender or fuel gauge may be taking a vacation once in awhile. When that light comes on to say you are low, I would not blow that warning off.
