2002 Volkswagen Jetta

My daughter's car threw a weight off of one of her rear tires. She took her car in to get the tire balanced and they told her that she cannot get just one tire balanced and that she cannot get just her back tires balanced. She would have to pay to have all four tires balanced. My husband and I believe that this company is just trying to take advantage of a young woman. Is it true what she was told about balancing. She recently had her tires balanced...she just threw a weight. She's just not in the town where the work was done.

Its better to have them all balance but you don't have to
and for them to say you have to have them all balanced
Its not a true statement
you can balance just one tire or two or three
try another shop
