That car has two fuel pump control modules as well. It is possible that they are not being controlled, If your scan tool can read live data you can look for the FP_M PID It will show either a % value or a duty cycle value. Normal values run between 80% and 125% and will vary a bit, or you could see a duty cycle of around 50%.
The pressure sender tells the PCM how much fuel pressure it thinks the engine needs based on the programmed charts. If the sensor went bad the PCM could have tried to send the controller into areas it shouldn't go and damaged it.
Another item to check is for animal damage. A single mouse can do a lot of damage by chewing holes in hoses and wiring.
