2000 Vauxhall Vectra loss of power?

I have a vectra 1.8sri saloon x reg. When I have been driving for around half hour the engine manegement light comes on and the cars powers drains, pulling off in 1st gear is like pulling off in 3rd gear. Alo the car shudders and shakes when stationary.

Have the vehicle serviced. Replace plugs/coils/filters etc. Etc.. Have the car plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve any fault codes and repost with codes for more assistance
