I have the car listed above LT, we were starting to have some overheating issues, so we replaced the water return jacket and the thermostat. We filled the car up and let it run up to temperature. Everything was good. My sister took off at it went about 5 Miles and it started to overheat. She slowed down to pull into a church and park, and did it shot up to hot real hot like in the red on the temperature gauge and then it shut down. We let it cool down completely. We filled it full of water, but we towed it to the house, it didn't filter full of water and tried to start it again. All it does is turn over and the starter makes like a whining noise like no compression or nothing it just slowly turns over like the starters dragging.

Yep, that is a bad sign the engine got too hot and the head gasket is blown and the pistons have grown and scored the cylinder walls and you might need a new engine for it, but to be sure if you upload a short video from under the hood of the engine cranking over I can tell for sure. You can upload it here with your response. Is the cooling fan running when it is overheating? This guide can help as well:

Car overheated shut down. We towed it to the house and let it cool down poured water in it tried to turn it over wouldn't start, just kept cranking. Pulled all four spark plugs and noticed they were wet. Cranked over the cylinders and shooting water out of all four spark plug cylinders. Is that the head or the head gasket? When I pull the dipstick to the oil it looks okay it's not milky or white.

Yep, the head gasket is blown and the cylinder head may be cracked, you will need to disassemble the engine for inspection.
