Turn signals

Okay, so I have managed to get this strip that runs as a DRL and turn signal but the problem is that the adapter has three wires. Of course red-hot/twelve volt black-ground and yellow as my flasher/turn signal. But as I looked at my turn signal inputs it had two wires. How do I properly connect a three input wire? I have got the strip grounded and hot wire tapped into one of the fuses of my box so that when my car turns on so does the strip. I just want to know what color code/wire do I tap into to get the strip running as a turn signal? This is for both sides. Driver and passenger. I tried using my multi- meter but when I stripped one of the inputs and checked for voltage on either wire of the vehicles existing turn signal, it blew a fuse. So after I changed it it worked but my multi-meter was no detecting anything but like 0.03 and 0.01. So I am kind of confused on how it is going to work. Only thing I have in mind to do right now is run a wire for the from DRL strip all the way to the back turn signals for it to work. Since I already found the twelve volt wire when I added a tail light strip that works as a DRL light and for my turn signals. This is for the car listed above LE model 2.5L engine.

First image is the strip itself.
Second image is when the yellow (flasher) receives twelve volts.
Third image is the back of the strip that I added as for my turn signals and DRL.

You have three wires because there are two circuits, one for the running lights and the other the turn signals. Both uses the same ground.
For the right turn signal, it is the green wire that is for the turn signal power supply,
Left uses the red.

Well yes I do get that they’re two circuits but neither connections, as I used a multimeter, show current. If it were to be that way then I probably would’ve already detected 12V on either one and tap into it for my turn signal.

Actually it did work! And I am very pleased with the results! Only downside to it is that I got pulled over for having too much light. Supposedly here in KY it’s illegal to add or modify a headlight or any light that doesn’t come as the cars defaults. I was told to remove them along with the other four center ones I installed. The bottom pic is what it looked like after I got done but a day or two after completed I was pulled over lol
