The right turn signal will blink normal three to four times then will begin blinking fast (as if one of the bulbs were out), and a message pop up on my dash display saying that the right rear turn indicator failed.

I tested the wiring harness and there is no output power. I can hear the relays under the hood clicking. I went as far as to purchasing a new BCM (per dealership recommendations) and programming the unit myself and I still have the same problem. Also, there are no DCT's when I scan the vehicle using Tech2Win.

So, any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have this problem and what happens is the bulbs on the right side need to be replaced (use AC Delco). Something happens to the bulb internally which changes the resistance and even though it might work the BCM thinks there is a problem and gives a massage the bulb is out. I would start with the rear bulb first, also check the connector at the right rear lens for corrosion. I have posted diagrams below to help you with the repair. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, this vehicle does not have removal bulbs. The diagram you attached is for a Tahoe. If the LED is the issue, I will have to buy a replacement unit. The images below show what my taillight looks like. I'm not aware of how to open the unit up without damaging it completely.

Thanks

Okay, it will be the low voltage to high voltage amplifier at the rear of the lens, (silver box). I would try to get one from an auto wrecker. It is common for these to go out. Please let me know.
