Trunk latch not working

Hi there. I recently bought a new trunk latch to replace the old one. Since the old one doesn’t open up with the remote. But now the one that I installed doesn’t open up. It makes a clicking sound and checked one of the fuses and it isn’t blown. What should I do?

All right. I’ll keep looking for a scanner. Any recommendations that I can purchase?

No, call around to local shops and ask them if they can access body control module information.

That is the easiest and cheapest way to get to the root cause of failure here.

Hey Roy, it turns out I found the problem. It seems like the wires were severed by lack of flexibility. thank you for everything.
