When the truck is idling or when driving down road and starting to slow down it will Shut off and sometimes won't hardly run for awhile after being parked. It mainly does this when it's hot outside. Also the heat will start in why the air conditioner is running. Will be cold air and out of nowhere it gets hot and we have to turn off engine then restart the truck for it to blow cool again.

This sounds like two separate issues so let's start with the running issue then we can tackle the A/C issue.

Here is a guide that will get us started with this issue:

Also, this sounds like a possible crank sensor issue so let's review this as well.

When the engine stops running can you crank the engine and it just doesn't start? If so, we need to check the basics when this is happening. Starting with looking at the RPM gauge and seeing if it is moving at all when you are cranking the engine.

If it is then let's check the fuel pressure when this happens as that is the next likely issue.

Let's start with this and go from there. Thanks
