I put new cylinder head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets and lifters in my truck. SLTmodel. I started it several times and it started great. I had the hood up all the time I started it because of working on it. I started it, turned it and let it run. Then turned it off and shut the hood. Would not start. It clicked. I just put a new battery in it. So I opened the hood and saw that the ground wire from the hood to the body was broke. Both ends are in bad shape. Could this be the problem?

Yes any ground wiring needs to be clean tight and in good shape. Also can you recheck the main ground cables and the main positive battery cable from the battery to the starter please?

Please report back
