My truck shakes at idle or while stopped changed the plugs and wires also noticed a lack of power don't know what else to try I was thinking it could be the coil pack but not sure if that will be the fix

Is the engine miss firing? If you carefully remove one spark plug wire from the plug while it is running, is there one plug that doesn't change the way the engine is running?

If you are sure it isn't missing, then check for vacuum leaks on and around the engine. That could cause a vibration. As far as your question about the coil pack, remove a spark plug and check for spark. You should be getting a hot blue snapping spark to the plugs. If you need directions on how to check, refer to our homepage under the DIY section.

Let me know what you find.
