Welcome back:

Wow! You have done everything. I am going to ask the site owner for his opinion. He is an excellent tech, so maybe he can think of something that I'm missing. If you see a reply from Ken, that's him. I will stay in the loop also.

I have seen these cars have body pops which can occur where the strut is mounted. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response.

Now I do know if you can really hear the noise but it's on this video, I did a little research and came across this one. Boy that was having the same issue with his truck, and found out that it could be the CV axle.

It is just getting worse. Now I feel like I have a little bit of a grinding noise or some sort of friction. I wiggled my CV axle and it was making a little noise kinda sounded like it was loose inside the joints of the CV axle, I do not know, I don't want to get rid of the car but I'm about to.

If this could help you out. Also my car has around 168,000 miles on it the only parts I have not replaced are the CV axle, sway bar bushings and my rack and pinion.

Welcome back:

I listened to the video. It sounds like something that is turning making the noise. It could be one of the joints in the axle or even a wheel bearing. Is there any humming when driving or clicking when turning?

Take a look through this link:

Let us know.

No no humming at all I replaced my suspension knuckle assembly. That's why I thought it was a CV axle.
