Transmission moving forward instead of backward?

Hello,

Good morning, sirs, according to the vehicle's owner, the vehicle was placed in reverse one evening, the vehicle was moving forward instead of backward. It was a great concern. The vehicle was scanned and there were no codes on the transmission. The transmission fluid level and transmission fluid quality were checked, and it was okay. The transmission is U660 transmission. Transmission has been reset.
What could be the cause?

This transmission is electronically controlled but it could be a valve body issue or the TCN has gone bad, but we should do a CAN scan to see what's going on. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon.
