With the low pressures and the noises I would say it has to come out and be gone through to find the failure point. Since it is out and apart you wouldn't put it back together with all of the worn parts anyway. So now you have a rebuilt unit without any upgraded parts. Or you can opt for the fully rebuilt unit, with the updates and a warranty. It will save time as well because you don't really know what surprises are inside the current transmission. That means you can drop out the old one, check the engines rear main seal or any other items that are easy to access while it's apart. Then bolt the new one in. The normal rebuild time at my local shop runs about 3 days if they don't need extra parts.
As for us, we will be waiting. Please drop back when you have an update. Thank you for using 2CarPros.
