Transmission not shifting to last gear

The vehicle is now functioning, the transmission is now shifting properly but still left with a problem, that felt a shock as if the vehicle is hit from behind by another vehicle.

Is this when the vehicle is shifting and if so, what gears are you shifting from and into what gear?

Normally this is internal transmission issues with the clutches or solenoids if it is only one gear. If it is more than one, then we have a valve body issue or even a fluid level issue.

So, let's start with what gears this is happening in and we can go from there. We may need to get a new post started that is more directly related but let's start here. Thanks
